Terms and Conditions

  1. This competition is conducted by Gauteng Motorsport Company (Pty) Ltd (Registration Number: 2007/028648/07) (Hereinafter referred to as "the Organiser").
  2. No pornographic images or suggestions will be accepted into any competition.
  3. The closing date will be adhered to and no extension will be given.
  4. Any member of the public may enter this competition without limitation.
  5. Directors, members, employees, agents of, or consultants to the Organiser, their promotional partners and printers, their advertising and promotional agencies and their immediate families, including spouses, life partners, parents, children and siblings, are excluded from being entered/entering into this competition.
  6. Entry to the competition may be attained via sms or the GO-GP.ORG website by following the given instructions and/or inserting required information which include providing the required personal information including contact details. Your entry has to be activated at http://competition.go-gp.org and you have to invite at least one friend.
  7. While the Organiser and Go-GP.ORG cannot be held liable for the unintended disclosure of information collected, this campaign takes every precaution to protect users' information. All of our users' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. Furthermore, all employees are kept up-to-date on security and privacy practices.
  8. All information relating to this competition and published on any promotional material shall form part of the terms and conditions of entry.
  9. The Organiser, GO-GP.ORG, its associated companies, its agents, contractors and sponsors assume no liability whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss or damage arising from an entrant's participation in the competition or for any other loss or damage, howsoever arising.
  10. If the Organiser is required by the Minister for Trade and Industry or the National Lotteries Board to alter any aspects of this competition or to terminate the same as a result of changes in legislation, the Organiser shall have the right to terminate this competition with immediate effect and without notice of such termination. In such event all participants hereby waive any rights that they may have against the promoter and hereby acknowledge that they will have no resource or claim of any nature whatsoever against the Organiser, its associate companies, its agents, its contractors and/or its sponsors.
  11. All entrants must be over the age of 18 years, however children under 18 may enter under legal parent or guardian’s registration and login details.  
  12. All entrants must opt in to the competition by registering as a go-gp.org member. Registration is free:

  13. In the event of any disputes arising from this competition, the Organiser and Judges' decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  14. The Organiser makes no guarantee that any of the prizes are fit for purpose, nor do the Organiser and GO-GP.ORG accept any liability for the use of any of the prizes. You hereby indemnify the Organiser and GO-GP.ORG and its Directors, members, employees, agents of, consultants, their promotional partners and printers, their advertising and promotional agencies against any and all losses, damages, costs, expenses, injury, death and liabilities incurred by you as a result of you entering the competition or your usage by any of the prizes.
  15. The organiser will not be held responsible for entries not received in the event of participants not successfully completing the entering mechanism/s supplied.
  16. The Organiser will not be responsible for lost, late, delayed, misdirected, unintelligible or incomplete electronic mail or failures or difficulties experienced due to malfunctions in communication services used to relay electronic mail, computer programmes or any other condition caused by events beyond the control of the organiser which may cause the promotion to be disrupted or corrupted.
  17. Due to the nature of the competition the Organiser will correspond with the entrants and nominated friends by e-mail, SMS and/or telephone for the duration of the competition. By entering the competition the participants automatically grant permission for such communication.
  18. By entering the competition all entrants agree to receiving announcement emails or sms’s.

Prizes:

  1. The organiser will deliver or arrange collection of the prizes to winners.
  2. There will be one (1) GO-GP.ORG launch prize which will be announced on the go-gp.org website.
  3. There will be event prizes which will be announced on the go-gp.org website.
  4. The prizes is not transferable, non refundable for cash, non-exchangeable and the prizes cannot be extended and any prizes not taken up for any reason will be the subject of a separate draw and shall be allocated in terms of this competition to (an) additional winner(s).

Draws:

  1. The winners of the competition will be chosen by means of a random lucky draw or in any other manner determined by the Organiser.
  2. The random draws will take place at the Organisers office situated at Nelson Mandela Square, West Towers, Maude Street, Sandown, 2146, South Africa.
  3. The Organiser reserves the right to ask for proof of identification from any prize winners. In the event that any prize winner cannot be contacted, or is unable to provide proof of identification or do not match the qualifying criteria required for this Campaign, the Organiser reserves the right to disqualify a winner and replace him/her with another without recourse against the Organiser for monetary compensation.
  4. By participating in this competition, all entrants agree to these official rules, and understand that the competition's results are final in all respects. By accepting to accompany the prize winner the companions agree to be bound by these rules.

Winners:

  1. The winner's names and photo's will be published on the GO-GP.ORG website.
  2. Winners will be notified by means of email using the email address or sms number provided on their entry application.
  3. Winners will be contacted telephonically using the cell phone number provided on their entry application.
  4. In the event that a prize is in the format of a ticket for an event:
    1. The ticket has no monetary value and is not intended to be nor may it be sold in any manner.
    2. The ticket cannot and will not be exchanged for cash.
    3. The ticket will be null and void if mutilated, altered, misprinted, defaced or tampered with in any way.
  5. The winner grants permission for the use of his/her name and photographs in any advertising and promotional material, or digital media for this competition and any other future promotions without claim to any compensation.
